A Decision...

I know, I give up too easy.... I am going to make videos and post them here but they will be free without  voice. Just me drawing and music. I will have kits for sell still, and I will post PDFs of any special tiles you may want to try.

One reason for this, there is no a place to get a clear sounding video. If I am not sniffling because of allergies, my dog or others in the house are making noise. Another reason is that my whole adult life I have been a teacher, in a classroom with real people (mostly children but still...).  I long for that interaction, I don't think I could do Zoom or Facebook live, and I don't really have what I need for that either. (I have gone back to the other post and made the video free!)

So, for now, until this pandemic is over, I will do videos for your enjoyment.... I hope you will enjoy them. I will continue to make videos after I start teaching classes, also. If you want to donate to help me create videos there is that option below. Maybe, some of you who live close to me will consider having a "party" with some friends and do some relaxing Zentangle when things get back to "normal".

This video has a file you can download to print on card stock with the drawing of the bird. I made 3 different versions of tiles, but only one is in the video.

                             Video Version                                                          Random Version

Colored Version
(we all have that one friend that stands out and we love them for it!)

The video link will be at the end of the blog. One of the things that we practice in Zentangle is to be grateful. I practice being grateful, not only for the ability, time, and tools to complete a tile, but for God and all He has given me; life, a desire to create and teach, and beautiful inspiration in the marvelous world He has created. So with the videos there will always be scripture, maybe ideas about the scripture, and maybe a little testimony. Some of you have read my other blogs or know me personally, you know I have a lot to be thankful for... So, Here are the verses for this tile...

Matthew 6:25-30 (ERV)
"So I tell you, don't worry about the things you need to live -- what you will eat, drink, or wear. Life is more important than food, and the body is more important than what you put on it. Look to the birds. They don't plant, harvest, or save food in barns, but your heavenly Father feeds them. Don't you know you are worth much more than they are? You cannot add any time to your life by worrying about it.
And why do you worry about clothes? Look at the wildflowers in the field. See how they grow. They don't work or make clothes for themselves.  But I tell you that even Solomon, the great and rich king, was not dressed as beautifully as one of these flowers. If God makes what grows in the field so beautiful, what do you think He will do for you? It's just grass -- one day it's alive, and the next day someone throws it into a fire. But God cares enough to make it beautiful. Surely He will do much more for you. Your faith is so small."

These verses a teachings of Christ. His disciples were always worried about things... Jesus was letting them know if His Father could do the things mentioned in these verse for a small bird or a wildflower why do we worry. The times are hard, many people are without jobs, or live on fixed incomes. Some of us need to find ways to fill the gaps.

I know that God has my back, I have never really gone hungry, He has always provided for me. There was a time when I had surgery on both my legs (at the same time). I had to take leave from work, and my paycheck after insurance and taxes was $450, my rent was $450... guess what, I never had a problem paying my other bills. I don't even know how, I believe with all my heart it was God. There is no other explanation. I didn't get food stamps, or welfare.... It was God!

One other thing... verse 27 says "You cannot add any time to your life by worrying about it." I believe you can take time from your life by worrying though.... things will be okay if we allow God to have control and guide our lives the way they need to be guided.

Thanks for reading my blog! God Bless You!
