Sharing

I was cleaning up some of my office/ creative area, which is never quite done... I am such a pack rat. In the process I collected some of my tiles I have created doing Zentangle. Some were done with Project Packs from Zentangle, some were from teaching the process, and others were done because I needed to relax, needed an escape, or just wanted to draw.  Below is the stack that was created from this cleaning. This is no where near all the tiles I have done. Many, I have given away, some I have sold.  Some are in my Zentangle keepsake box.

When people share art journals they do flips, I will flip through these so that you can see them. 

With that done here is a thought that I want to share...

"Think about what we have in Christ: the encouragement he has brought us, the comfort of His love, the sharing in His Spirit, and the mercy and kindness he has shown us. If you enjoy these blessings, then do what will make my joy complete: Agree with each other, and show your love for each other. Be united in your goals and in the way you think. In whatever you do, don't let selfishness or pride be your guide. Be humble, and honor others more than yourselves"    Philippians 2:1-3 ESV

 

I believe the United States, and all the world could use a little of this theology. Even if you don't believe in the God I believe in or in any God at all, you have to understand that the principle set forth in this passage is a good one. 

I have always been taught that the Bible has everything that is needed to live life, every question you have can be answered in some way in the Bible. You may think I am crazy for believing that, but I do. So why this passage on sharing?

I want to share my Art, and my life with people, not to get recognition, not to be praised, but simple to share. I love art, I love that God gave be the ability to create and the desire to do it. I want to share that with you and anyone else who would like to come along. I want to show my love for others, and help the world to live in unity. I don't want to be prideful or self-boasting. I share all I share because I love what I do, I love God, and I love others. God has given me so much to be thankful for and to share. I have no need to be prideful or boastful, because in my mind my art is not that good and neither am I.
